Frequently Asked Questions

Loss Assessors often get confused with Loss Adjustors but there is light and day between the two. We call our Assessors, Policy Enforcers to avoid the confusion. The Loss Adjuster looks after the interests of the insurance company and are called Adjusters for a reason. Their main role is to effect what your insurance company agrees to pay, and more importantly what they do not agree to pay for your claim. Loss Assessors or in our case Policy Enforcers, work solely on behalf of the policyholder to ensure their insurance company pays out what you are entitled to against your policy.
Insurance companies use an Adjuster to fight their battles. To help you even up the odds you will need to appoint a Loss Assessor or Policy Enforcer to achieve a fair settlement.
It’s important to note that when you make an insurance claim you will have to know what you are entitled to. Insurance companies can only pay out on the information provided to them at that time. To make sure you achieve a fair settlement you should appoint a specialist’s company who know how to help you achieve your entitlement.
There are two ways in which we recover our fee, and the good news is that we only get paid on the outcome of the successful settlement. Cash Settlement - You can settle your claim by requesting a cash payment for the total loss of your claim. If this is your preferred route, we will charge our pre-agreed percentage of the successful settlement which can vary depending on the degree of difficulty and agreed prior to you signing up. Full Recovery - We will provide you with one of our trusted contractors to carry out the works, where your insurer will pay them in instalments based on the works schedule. Our fee will be a part of the management of this process, which will be covered by the contractors.
You are entitled to use an Assessor or Policy Enforcer to look after your interest and represent you through your claim. Your insurance company and their third parties will not handle your claim any differently and we will only have a positive effective on the settlement you achieve.
